Who is to know what the correlation between the OP and the USD is anymore these days!
The graph below clearly shows that it was positive between Dec 214 and Aug 2015. Then it went negative for a bit; then it went positive again in October; then it went negative again in November before turning positive again and then negative again.
If anyone can make any sense out of the correlation between the USD and the OP they deserve a Nobel Prize.
I think the lemmings use this (old) correlation as a proxy to display their (un)intelligence.
