Seven West Media SP increased 3.9% today on volume of 23,400,000 shares traded. The next highest volume day (over the previous 12 months) was 15.6m shares on 20th Aug'18 the day before its results were announced.
Nine Entertainment (Fairfax merger pending) lifted its SP by 3.0% today on5.3m shares traded.
The one million opening order for PRT @ $0.23 was not filled and looks to have been cancelled. Pre opening tomorrow morning will be interesting.
Over the last few days an article appeared in the press suggesting that with the NEC/Fairfax merger that Murdoch was likely to do a deal with SWM, though the shape of the deal was not known. Given that PRT has a renewed affiliation agreement for 7 content anything could happen and quickly.
Might have to strap myself in on this giant rollercoaster.
