    I don't think it can be AVO directly because they'd have to announce another takeover offer I think - but I'm not sure if there is anything to stop pala taking a direct stake in DIO. Either way I'd say its someone seeing value in holding some of the, now scarce, remaining DIO stock at a time when control of DIO appears up for contention.
