I think you're on the right track benb86. OEX has been my gut feeling for some time now and I have always done well.
My advice though to you is not to move around too much, too much research etc and chasing.
Find say 3 good stocks and learn them inside out, buy on the lows and sell on peaks.
Don't get emotional about holding and loyalty as even the major shareholders don't, they are the biggest traders.
