Easiest way to avoid CGT is to sell into your super fund at the lowest price possible (and acceptable to ATO) when you expect a rise in SP.
I have used this off-market transaction several times for this very reason.
There is also some tolerance in the date of the transaction where a SP is rising, although if a price jumped dramatically I don't think ATO would be too sympathetic to a crossing transaction that was lodged coincidental to the jump.
