If you read through the results reports, they are divesting research programmes which are unlikely to produce returns and unlikely to produce clinical benefit.
Big pharma went through a period when they were partnering with all sorts of dubious proposals, and these are now showing that they are not likely to be efficacious / profitable or whatever.
We still have a treatment that is making good progress in combination trials. It's a process which is much slower than I anticipated, and I'd like to see something concrete regarding a partnership / sale. Still confident but wondering what is my deadline?
