There has been some massive numbers previously quoted around the cost of government's and health insurer providers for the treatment of OA (and opioid addiction).... You mentioned the other day you couldn't see health insurer's going for this... well, far better than potentially $10k-$50k surgeries should it not be available.... it won't avoid all surgeries, but, pain relief, better joint movement and anti inflammation will certainly help many avoid surgery... the costs to government of the opioid epidemic in insanely large.... i am sure they'd see $1500 fairly cheap too...not to mention people not overdosing..
