Said it before but the green / farmer / tree change block is the biggest threat we have. The rational approach of trying to educate and convince people with facts is ineffective against people with irrational beliefs. When industry pushes it through with government support like in QLD, the public sees the benefits and the issue resolves itself. I thought the UK government was going that way but the anti-forces know how to hit pollies where it hurts and every victory emboldens them.

The UK may head the way of NSW with a similar effect on our investment - think 4 cents per share or worse!

To win a public debate needs an ad campaign, with counter social media backing, combined with the all the rational sequential point by point destruction of the lies put forward by the extreme opponents. The green fanatics need to be shown up for the ignorant uncool tools they are rather than being idolised by the even more ignorant left brainless sheeple. Catch 22 is that this is expensive which plays to part of their strategy of delay and degrade and attack investor base.
