IMO the price action has been mostly driven by the current drilling program at Side Well which has the potential to produce another Andy's Well. Average daily volume over the past year (excluding chi-x) has been 280k shares and yesterday we had a whopping 13.9m and today 11.8m (this is the highest volume since the stock went ballistic in November 2017 following their first nickel sulfide hits at Mt Venn). Some of today's trades could have been profit takers from yesterday, but nonetheless an indicator of just how fast this undervalued low cap stock can run.
Results from Side Well, should start trickling through from mid October, so could be as early as Monday morning. Still over 4000 samples in lab with many more being drilled by the day.
But hey, you are right, the current drilling at Whiteheads is almost adjacent to the Estrella (EST) Nickel Project which saw EST gain over 400% yesterday.
There is so much going on with this stock right now and lots more action to come between now and the end of this year and it will definitely be moving higher from here and there is a serious gap that needs to be filled in the mid 30's and hopefully will happen during this campaign.
Many of the shares on the register were acquired during the 2017-2018 campaign and has a cost base of around 40c.
