Today's 2.2% AllOrds drop had me on the phone
to my broker to buy more Property Trust shares.
The purchase cut my yield from 10.45% to 10.30%
Hardly earth-shattering news but it was nice to
go against the gloomy trend. Whether I come
out on top I don't care. It's a nice little earner
and that's heaps better than chasing capital
gains and since I don't pay fund managers
or their product touts (hilariously called
Financial Advisors) a percentage of my
capital for advice, more can be spent
on trips like this for me and my wife:
big price drop = buy buying opportunity
