    Given the lending, including recent World Bank financing, there is no way, in my view, that they would want to see TGS go under. It's simply not in their interests and they would be doing everything in their power to keep things ticking along.
    Without doubt, the risk here has been doing business in a 3rd world country. I mean, where is the 11million?! Just knowing that that is definately coming changes the entire scenario.
    Investors money has done a lot for the local community and yet the DRC decide to just can the VAT refunds.

    The last update noted that the DRC has changed its mind and that they will be paying the VAT. Holders should be relievd at this. I dare say, the lenders, TGS will be meeting to pressure govt officials to cough up.
    If TGS goes under it does nothing to help the country attract new investments.
