Yes but its good news that despite the hugely bloated oligarchs of US Tech, of the 25 % of US companies reporting as of yesterday, 80% exceeded expectation which is remarkable. The long neglected Russell Index has not performed well despite their results and was just beginning to perform, even the Dow Jones as a whole has had good but moderate growth. It is frustrating that the Mega few demoralize portfolio owners of other stock but there will be a US interest rate cutting coming now without question, maybe before the expected date of September , so this correction is in the context of a Bull market , meaning there will be another big upward move in next two months. After that personally I find lots to fear of the US election so I will weigh my options.
