beauson 45,on my inital reading of your post, I gave you a thumbs up,having reread your post,I shouldnt have given you a thumbs up,however,once Id given it,it would be wrong to take it away.
If we can perhaps work backwards from your post,it would at least be helpful for me.
Yes the new JORC figure is fantastic and if the "deal" was as per the "original" proposal 49 percent sale to the Canuks(not in a derogatory way)I suspect the SP would have gone much higher,than it did today.
As the "deal" stands now,we the SHrs dont actually know what the "deal" is.
If the SHrs dont know, how can anyone expect nonholders to have a "grasp" of where the Sp should be?
I dont beleive its a question of confidence,its a question not knowing,thats whats holding the SP back at this "early stage".
The whole idea of the sharemarket is "the taking of risk",the market is always forward looking.
All SHrs across all stocks are somewhat at the "whim " of management to "do the right thing by them".
Do you know something "special" about these particular managers that sets them apart from the rest?
As the management have set a "floor" of a minimum $70 million plus-plus and plus,given the incredible increase in the JORC,is there any reason not to suggest a large increase in the cash componant is not forthcoming?
I personaly think that they have been a "victim of circumstance" in as much as,theyve had to adhere to the ASX rules of disclosure and try to negotitate a "company making deal" at the same time,which IMHO can hamstring negotiating "in strength".
Yes Ive been negative about how management have handled things up to now,I think theyve been waiting for another offer to appear on the table,for whats thats worth.
As I have stated previously,what monetary figure is the Meaga offer worth,when we know,I would expect the SP to reflect it.
Ultimatley it will come down to a vote,I can assure you that Ill vote for what I beleive is the best deal for SER and of course for me.
