An odd way to sell indeed. Unless of course as you said before the purpose is to scare buyers to put higher bids and sellers into holding for higher prices for fear that the big seller might jump even lower, or other jumping the cue on the sell side. Regardless this is a tactic used very often by brokers to scare the market on a specific stock specially when you don't see this size of seller in the market depth.What we had in the past is 1 M buyers comingi n from off the bidding side; We had a few last friday buying at 55ct and 56cts
