if you keep looking at daily data and extrapolating long term trends off daily data you'll do your head in. If you take a longer outlook on your trades say monthly at least then the daily change becomes less important.
one red day and sky is falling.
One day where shorts are increasing and it must mean the world is ending, even though weekly short positions have dropped significantly (more than a 10 percent drop in a week)
