the Issue ALP have dug themselves into is they have bent over for every LWNJ/Communist and their stupid ideals
ultimately, you can't make them all happy
the ez example are the Rainbow Gender Nazi nutters and the conservative muslim community
these are two that can not aline their and have poll opposite veiws on how society should be. the ALP whilst in opposition can pander to both (with lies), but when in power, you can only side with one, leaving the other (very) unhappy with your governing
the ALP has essentially a large number of small groups of voters. These groups dont all aline
the Greens have the same issue, but with one difference, they are unlikely to ever be in power(God Help us if they ever are), so they never get held accountable for all the BS they say.
the LNP just need to stick to right leaning capitalist policy and they will always keep their core voter basis happy. The COVID19 reponse was wayyyy too left wing and the LNP was punished but COVID is unlikely to happen again
the ALP is supposed to be a party for the working class - however thr working class has become the upper middle class in the last 2-3 decades they have neglected the core voters of their government and the polls show they are unlike to form a majority govt next elextion
we have had 3 LNP in a row honestly speaking non of those governments where 'good' (Turnbull still makes me want to throw up)
but it was a mile better then the car crash we have now under Albo
