Fair enough, and in certain circumstances I agree.
If RIO wants to develop a mine in the Republic of Uppacreekwithoutapaddle then I will back them to succeed. They have the size and proven expertise do business in strange lands.
But if TLS want to but Reach, or NAB buy Homeside, or AMP, Henderson etc, my money is in my pocket. The truth us, whether we like it or not they see us coming. We tend to mostly pay too much for too little.
QAN may be on a winner here, but from my point of view as an investor it's piling risk on an already risky sector.
