You raise the recent disasters! But surely good due diligence plays a part in all deals. You would have to back Qantas given their track record. They aren't mugs - the rest were mugs even before they entered the transaction.
I grant that the sector is a little risky at the moment but the world doesn't shut down because some loony threatens to blow a plane out of the sky or because some chicken gets sick in China. Life must go on and it has. I get sick of all the doomsayers and so has QAN by the looks of it!! Good luck to them I say and I'm sure they'll make it work.
