It also makes sense for them to have more shares to use when it comes to a vote on whether the raising at 0.017c goes ahead or not.
I know if I was sitting on a potential $10m profit, I'd spend $8m to buy 666m shares at 12c because i'd still be sitting on a $2m profit.
It would also prop up the share price and put a floor for any potential capital gains.
