The AH structure overlapping only adds to this. For those unaware the structure lies in 2200 metres of water so drilling isn?t going to be cheap yet AP is paying 80% of costs for a 60% interest.

I don?t think the world will fall off a cliff in another GFC type scenario. There far are too many vested interests to allow a Eurozone country to default, especially when the tools are available to prevent it. Politics may be hurting the situation now but when push comes to shove, a default equals political suicide for many. We only have to look as far as our own government to see what lengths politicians will go too to stay in power.
