I didnt buy any AKKOA's because i have my own trading rule for options which says i only buy them if they are long dated and sell them with no less than a year remaining to expiry (ie trade on exchange for profit).

They are high risk high reward but equally the opposite applies. Too risky for me. That said, everyone has a different risk tolerance so i dont think there is a right or wrong on this, until you bring hindsight into it and everyone will be an expert.........human nature.

If they do expire unconverted I doubt there would be much impact to the heads price? That said i'd like to hear from anyone who understands this in depth and can put forward some commentary about whether the removal of this dilution is likely to impact the share price?

They may issue new options relatively soon after expiry to raise some capital and i think there would be demand for them if they had a similar conversion price.
