TOE has been removed from the URA ETF and I suspect it will be removed from URNM as soon as Sprott takes over. The ETF addition and removal accounts for the large volumes.
I see Camecos WA uranium project which they purchased for 450mil in 2015 has also lapsed. Cameco has filed for an extension (why they would wait for the lapse to do this is beyond me).
I've run two businesses and seen all sorts of shit but throwing 450mil in the trash (keeping in mind their MC is only 7.6bil) is very very hard to understand (especially seeing as we are finally enerting a U Bull market). Gross ineptitude, I've never held Cameco and never will.
WA has Gov has made themselves very clear that these projects will not go ahead. Only chance is a change in leadership and even then... There is an outside chance this stock will make gains perhaps in 5 years but there is clearly better value elsewhere. I'm thoroughly disappointed and just moving on.
