After having been very keen to see AVM get stuck into some regional exploration, and I am no longer convinced that this is or should necessarily be an urgent objective for Bill. Especially if AVM can pick up proven or known resources at very little cost in partnering deals with gecamines - and with no exploration risk at all.
AVM's strength lies in getting mines into profitable production and they seem well placed to employ these skills as there appear to be a number of good deposits in the S/SE area just waiting to be restarted.
