BigAir has been very strong over recent days. Surprisingly so given the market performance.
Volumes on Friday last week, and both Monday and Tuesday this week were also very strong.
Given some of the recent movements in the space (M2 taking Dodo) and plenty discussion in the financial press about the strong financial performance of TPG, iiNet, etc. are we starting to see increased focus in the space.
I've always thought that BGL would get increasing attention once they got around the $100m (with some funds starting to pay more attention), but I also had an expectation that they won't get to $200m as I expect them to be taken out prior to then.
Are we starting to see someone getting set? It may be too early to tell, and it could be funds buying (perhaps after exiting some of the other stocks that have had really strong runs).
If the 2nd half is strong (which I expect it will be due to bedding down the recent acquisitions) then I think we will really start to see some larger players get interested.
Any thoughts?
Cheers
Marv
