My feeling has always been that there would be a coordinated worldwide announcement and action because firstly they'll be seen to have blood on their hands if they don't do it and secondly politicians love to be portrayed as heroes .So yes Ex,I certainly wouldn't be going short of course ,but until we actually see some action the spectre of armageddon casts a pall over markets .
It would be highly unusual if they just let it fall to pieces and didn't do something because ,let's face it ,politicians love to be seen as proactive and it can't be too long before everyone is screaming for it which will add to the pressure
The logistics and infighting as to how that occurs are what's holding it back
