From what I understand improving the recovery at Deflector is a more worthwhile proposition. Currently Deflector only has a gravity circuit and after removal of the easy free gold (about 55%) then goes on to produce a copper/gold concentrate that is sent on to refiners (at a discount). Problem is that copper can act as a poison to CIL reagents and therefore it may well be essential for SLR to install a copper removal circuit prior to CIL or alternatively to use an Ion Exchange process which can cope with the copper (but possibly more capex and less proven)
