Bigger- Takeovers?

I was looking at an unlisted Quantum computing company this morning. (Q-cel) "Q-CTRL has secured an additional $86.3 million in Series B funding, bringing the total funding round to $166 million.-- The round was led by GP Bullhound and joined by previous contributors, including Main Sequence Ventures and Salesforce Ventures. It also saw participation from new investors such as Lockheed Martin Ventures, Edison, NTT Finance and Salus Group, among others"

$166 million invested is not a charity. Its a slice of the game.

Why did this bring my thoughts back to AML 3D? Our market cap is tiny in the world we are already operating in.

We are in:

2. Austal $2.81 billion AUD
3. Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd. (See below) 32.23 trillion KRW in is $AUD35.8 billion
4. BAE systems $70.20 billion UK

Austal Limited (ASX:ASB) (Austal) refers to media on 1 April 2024 and confirms it has received an unsolicited, conditional and non-binding indicative proposal from Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd. (Hanwha) to acquire Austal by way of a scheme of arrangement (Indicative Proposal). Under the Indicative Proposal, Austal shareholders would receive $2.825 cash per Austal share.

Who in our play book does the takeover game?

BAE System has acquired 29 companies, including 9 in the last 5 years. A total of 7 acquisitions came from private equity firms. It has also divested 7 assets. BAE System’s largest acquisition to date was in 2023, when it acquired Ball - Aerospace Business for $5.6B.

Not wishing my shares to be taken over. Just interested IF that may occur!
