Been away all day dropped GF off at airport. Just looged-on to seeMLX trded 9.5m shares today!! incredible stuff.
newminer u asked for some comments. Overall a couple of exc posts. However, i immediately noticed that u posted 3.5% of world prod but u did correct it to 2.5% subsequently. I wrote MLX has hit 'new zone of 6% tin.' It is actually (see ann 17/09) 14.3m at 8.11%. As they note this equates to 45g/ton Au.I prefer to understate the stats a bit. I have no qualms re promoting a stk i believe-in and am buying/holding, but try to be bit conservative. e.g. i also wrote MLX has cash prod cost of $12,00/ton when ann (as u noted) specfies $10,350/ton.
Nevertheless, u raise several valid/relevent points esp fact that MLX is churning-out tin metal as we speak. Mines take ages to get into production and producing profits. MLX has contracted MAH and things are best they've been in years. With no other mines able to fill the current yin shirtage MLX is well-placed. Balance sheet is not perfect but I'll let others give their opinion.
PS. what staggers me is that MLX fell during the session to 22.5c!! I wonder how many went thru at that price.
PPS. Would be great to see posts/opinions from others... holders or otherwise.
