This does look like a potential "dividend stock" due to the assertions you make. The down side is that people will be paying paying tax at their marginal rate rather than at the 50% discounted CGT rate (potentially half the rate) if they sold out a % every year. In saying that the SP would be going up if they retained the cash. I can't wait till this dilemma is before us. At the moment no one is buying
