Agree with you mate. I've got cable and speed is fine. As I see it this just provides the infrastructure free to content providers such as Murdoch. Good ole Rupert must be rubbing his hands with glee. Superfast delivery and he does not have to contribute a penny.
Would have been far better to spend on solar panels etc and trying to wean us off our carbon addiction.
