I get what you're saying.

I always find that intoxication is a good antidote to feeling bad.

I would quite happily rationalise 20 thumbs down as a good reason to knock back half a bottle of single malt, or a litre of box wine - depending on my trading performance in any given week.

On the other hand, I could also proudly wear a bunch of thumbs down as a badge of honour - particularly on the politics forum, and skull down a bottle of soda water in celebration.

Each to their own I suppose.
