If you mean gross producer or if you mean nett producer you will get different answers. For example the biosphere produces lots of CO2 and then absorbs it again over a few years. Oceans exsolve CO2 in some parts and absorb it in others. Soils both produce and absorb CO2.

Does the guru who provides the data for you differentiate between nett producers of CO2 and gross producers?

Do you have any idea of the rate at which coal is forming compared with the rate we humans dig it up and burn it?
