With negative interest rates in Europe and Japan I can't work out why some of their funds aren't all over this at these levels - ok there is growing competition but there is also growing numbers of bums on seats - yes they are buying nice shiny new airplanes but that will lower costs going forward and likely attract a customer who likes to fly in nice shiny brand new aircraft - they have plenty of cash and are forecast to turn a healthy profit with an average of $55 for fuel for FY2017.. I think they are to boring for their investors who look to have sold out and given the NZ gov is the majority owner they are under no great pressure to increase the sp in a hurry by doing the leg work with overseas funds.. I aslo read a report that some management including the CEO had sold many of their shares last year and early this year when the sp was much higher so maybe they get new options at a lower sp now....
