AIZ is very well hedged so I would regard the movement in airline carrier stocks to be pretty arbitrary and another time the market uses false proxies and inadequate signalling for its behavior IMHO but pls DYOR.
Higher POO actually helps Australian trade and would flow thru to AIZ in higher tourism to North and South Island IMHO.
