    3 years at $600m = $1.8b so not in FY 2017 or FY 2018 but in FY 2019 they'll need another $200m once they use all the cash they now have + they'll have a very modern fleet as a selling point and saving on maintenance and fuel use to bank - how far ahead should we be worried about right now - who knows whats going to happen between now & 2019 - competition may well have sorted itself out by then.
    I will review this in 12 months time or if we get a huge jump in the POO - NZ gov still owns 52% maybe they will sell part or all to someone like singapore airlines - be a smart time to do it with such big results - the NZ gov needs the cash so if thy think the cash cow won't be producing as much milk going forward they may sell more...not sure how Kiwis would respond to that - then again Australia sold off its airlines...
