@bj789, you assume 'that big Pharma with its big investment and its corrupt lobbing practices would bury any competing therapies regardless of their merits unless the competing therapy was a cure'. You don't appreciate the power, drive and acumen of the US industry. You may be correct in your assertions that 'they don't give a damn about people only dollars', but why would they 'bury any competing therapies regardless of their merits' when they can own the competing therapies? It would serve their interests through increased profits and a broadened power base by investing in the emerging technologies as they become the new standard of care! After all, that's what they are currently doing in the T-cell therapies space now as it becomes the new paradigm in cancer treatment. They may well do the same with B-cell technologies if they prove to be complementary if not superior alternatives to T-cell therapies.
