PRU's management is under no obligation to comment about share price volatility when it's not related to its operations and the executive team is way too smart to succumb to the temptation to make some kind of meaningless "nothing to see here" statement aimed at pacifying nervous shareholders.
This has been a gang buster stock for the last three years and if Edikan performs to expectations over the next six to 12 months and if Tengrela comes in on time and on budget and if the gold price holds above $1600/oz then even people who bought a couple of months ago when PRU hit $4 will be looking at a nice fat capital gain by say 2015?
It's all about whether an investor can get to sleep at night for the next four years counting all those ifs.
