In terms of buying options they are exactly the same as shares eg buying 5000 options at 20c will cost you $1000... The options expire at the end of year, and the shares need to be above 25c in order for the options to not expire worthless...If the shares are below 25c, then the options expire worthless because it's cheaper to buy heads(main shares) on market... Options are great for leverage, and are roughly quoted as heads price - strike price... So if BIG gets to $1, the options will roughly be 75c...So BIG goes up 150% from 40c and BIGO goes up around 300% from 20c... You can convert your options anytime to shares by paying 25c per option you own, so 5000 x 0.25 = $1250...If you don't want to convert you can sell all or part of your options anytime on market...
