Way too early to state covid is seasonal as the factors that can limit it's transmission ie sunlight and low humidity are not seasonally exclusive.
Have a look at the timeline for US numbers of cases and the last surge was in the warmer months where sunshine is the norm.

My mind is very much open to any new data which reveals the characteristics of this virus, as I find it a very interesting issue.
Being in Brisbane and not being impacted by covid to the same degree as southern states I'm very curious as to why. Not for a moment do I think it's due to our state Govt and it's hard and fast lockdown approach, as there's just as many idiots here who flaunt the health advice as elsewhere.
The last few cases we have had here haven't resulted in an outbreak even though they were infectious in the community for days. There's a reason for that and I'm yet to understand that reason.
