In Perth with the construction of the Perth-Mandurah fast rail line on overpasses where the train will travel underneath the roadway large barriers have been erected.
One, it stops kids and others throwing rocks on the train, but two, it also prevents others from having a leak from the overpass. The danger here is that the stream of urine makes contact with the overhead power lines and hence one unsuspecting leaker gets electrocuted.
A kid was electrocuted some years when leaking onto the Perth-Joondalup line
