Labor are certainly in election mode but Turnbull is definitely not, if Turnbull has any concerns about the polls he is not showing it.
Polls go up and down hence why averaging gives a better perspective
I would not under estimate Turnbull, he has been very successfully in just about every thing he has done. Only failed as opposition leader but I expect he learnt from that and he has successfully taken the top job.
Coming weeks and the budget will be telling, I think many will be surprised
