I agree, I can't see rates rising too much anytime soon, i think the RBA will take time to assess their rise in November (plus the banks rise). Also if you look at the last line in their monthly statement today it is completely neutral with no hint of a raise any time soon so you can be guaranteed that until that wording changes it's not even on their radar.
All that said, i'm hoping that we see a nice gentle 10% drop in house prices over the next 12 months ready for me to buy!
