Being located on in the Hay Street mall i noticed a big void missing today, more foot traffic into the store as people were enquiring as to why they were not able to get recharges from the news agency where they quite frequently visit for their monthly recharge.

The self service Epay Aust Stand alone recharge machine in our store had a line which on a normal day would other wise be vacant. Advised the customer's that the company behind the news agency recharges have gone under and that they will need to go to places where the Epay logo is displayed if they require recharge credits.

Unlike Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, 3, Crazy John stores who all use Epay equipment for their recharges and will only sell credit for their own networks, news agency were able to sell credit for all networks which gave them a broader customer base.

There is a big void that needs to be filled as there is money being lost left, right and center for the networks. There needs to be a company who can quickly pick up where bxp left off.

The Epay brand is quite reputable as it has a good partnership with all major carriers both in Australia and internationally. Carriers will be happy to associate themselves with the Epay brand. Epay is a worldwide brand, Carriers understand how Epay operate and understand how and when they get paid by Epay.

Iphone getting released in less than 2 days, Data is the new craze word in the world of mobiles, So much money to be generated for Mobile companies... this might possibly be the start of the next Tech boom from traditional means e.g Desktop/home computing to new age mobile computing e.g. Mobile phones, Wireless broadband Not everybody will be on contracts when the Iphone comes out people are still gonna buy their handsets out right and therefore need their recharge credit if they wanna make a call, send txt/pxt messages, use their gps on their iphone, surf the net, purchase stuff off the net on their phone, watch mobile TV. So much potential here.

Like in Australia where mobile carriers have spent billions on upgrading their towers so that they are 3G+ the same is happening in Asia. The faster the speed of the network the more innovative they become, the Mobile industry is really exciting at the moment the Tech Boom version 2 is coming.
