    @shareman

    Why would big pharma "likely" already have bitten ? Enlighten us.

    You don't really have any conviction in this view, otherwise you would have (should have) removed the word "likely". Then it would have been a big, bold declarative statement on which you could continue to take this very certain position of yours.

    Let's run another scenario, and for the record, this is purely hypothetical, but, entirely plausible like yours.

    Let's say Big Pharma has expressed an interest. The conversations are on-going obviously, because if there were already some agreement, the market would need to be told. Big Pharma likes what they see and are prepared to offer a "deal". MM and the board have dismissed any such offer of a deal until there is better data on the expected clinical outcomes, which are to be delivered by the 2B trial. This gives extends their data and significantly increases shareholder value for any future negotiation.

    You could "hedge your bets" and take a deal now, at a much lower value in anticipation of a good result, or you could hold out, and with the solid results in hand, name your price.

    All hypothetical. We won't know until the next announcement, will we ?

    GLTAH.
