I totally concur. Sophs, many of them, would just flip within 2-4 weeks and usually coinciding with some announcement. Lock in profits, reduce total entry price.
The spec end of the market should really look after their shareholders and offer the placement to them first. Unfortunately, you always have the top end of town that want to get in on the cheap. That's capital markets for us.
Some companies do it well eg. ALK, CHN comes to mind. HCH could try and emulate them with respect to making announcements and CR. IMO
But I get HCH situation, so it's tough for CE. Hope he settles this debacle asap.
