Have you got any concept of how much copper that is? Even if only a fraction of the inferred gets converted into indicated. In 2020 global copper reserves were estimated to be 870 million tonnes. Someone will buy the country or invade it to get their hands on that copper.

In comparison, Escondida has a total measured and indicated resource of around 9 million tonnes at around 0.55% grade using cutt-offs of 0.2% to 0.3% depending on the ore.

Fruit knows how much more copper there is sitting in the earth's crust in Africa and every other continent. Supply will always meet demand in the long run. There is probably massive amounts of copper dissolved in the water of the worlds' oceans.

HCH has to take advantage of a sweat spot of a forecast deficit opening up probably between 2025 to 2030 (although weak economic activity could even dampen that deficit). HCH is a play on the getting a project ready to build in time to meet a favourable medium term price outlook.
