yes I do prefer assets that produce something and you should too. HOWEVER, It's completely up to the individual if you want to invest in crypto then you have that option. I've done at least 5000 hours of research into the crypto space and for me personally I don't consider it to be an asset that can produce something other than I need someone else to pay more than me to make a capital gain. And if capital gain is your plan then go for it.
