The current fresh water deficit for regions 2 and 3 is 20000 lps.

HCH has quoted figures of 2700 lps for the purposed desal plant. The study due out before end of year will provide the information the Old and Truf are to impatient to wait for.

So apparently the existing desal plants can just take up the slack with expansions that will also require government approval and build massive long distance pipelines all over the countryside. Would need another 4 or 5 plants to have supply and demand in balance.

So in Truffs and Olds eyes the BOD should not have the shareholders best interests in mind by assessing any opportunity that presents value to shareholders? Last time i checked HCH is a resource company is water not a resource?

If HCH stumbled onto a Rare Earths, uranium or zinc deposite on our lands would they not investigate is merits and sell off even though were are primarily focused on copper gold?

An independant 3rd party the likes of Worley Parsons etc are the ones who would be engaged to have input into the business case (plenty of engineering experience)
