My favourite BS excuse from management was the oft repeated line that the market was 'punishing' PFSer companies, therefore it was highly strategic to sit around not achieving much for 12 months, conserving cash and paying performance bonuses.
Now with 30% dilution and SP near all time lows, I'd say we've actually been punished for some pretty poor management decisions.
