It was a seriously bad business decision, but a habit of HCH.

If I was a big investor or institution I would never buy on market, but wait until HCH needs a CR, put my hand up and receive a 20% discount and a cool $1mil in fees. What's the point of buying on market when you know HCH will just do the usual CR and huge discount?

I don't have a problem with not including retail as that's just business, but it's giving the huge discounts which is the issue, and then the fact that after all those high salaries, generous share bonuses and fees that they cannot even do it properly and then don't have the grace of admitting it.

Anyways, I guess no point revisiting it all over again, but it is important to note this discount and the subsequent process is one of the (many) reasons for the 25%+ fall in SP over the last month or so...
